Well this is my first writing for the HCH, hopefully I will be of so use to you guys! HA. I have seen various files and manuals on how to make chemical out black powder bombs, well those are all great and you probably have your preference of what you like, I personally like the Co2 type and I am thinking of trying some chemical types, but what most txt leave out is how a good detonator!! I have taken some ideas from mags I have seen (Electronic's Now, and Popular Electronics- both excellent for people who want to learn about electronics) and I have come up with some sparking detonators, flare ups, and things of the sort. You could even do some of these with a remote control device, I will design that one next. Be careful with these you can cause damage to things and yourself, electricity can kill!! Here are a couple of types.. And todays first Igniter circuit will be the spark igniter, this circuit uses three things Parts Required: 1- SPST N/O Switch 1- High Turns step up transformer 1- Battery 9 or 12 Volts ÄÂÄ ÄÄÄÁÄÄÄ ÚÄÄÄì SW1 ìÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ¿ ³³íÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ¿ ³ ³ ³³í ³ ³ í ³³í  ³ T1 í ³³í Spark Gap ³ í ³³í ³ í ³³í  ³ ³ ³³í ³ ÀÄÄÄ+º-B1-º-ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ ³³íÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ To Activate the spark for this circuit you simply press the switch and a Spark will appear, you will have to experiment with the size of the spark gap, to find which works best for your purpose/voltage. Here is my favorite, the FLASH Circuit Detonator, this circuit can be used to ignite solid fuels like the ones used in model rockets, or it can be used to ignite fumes, the possibilities are pretty varied. You could even make this powered by a car ignition system so when the key was turned by that annoying bitch who cheated on you.... Boom! Parts Required: R1, R2- 1000 Ohm (1K),¬ watt, 5% tolerance resistor C1- .1 uF Ceramic Disk Capacitor SCR1- 6-Amp SCR-Radio Hack # 276-1067 S1- Normally Open SPST Push Button + 12 volts ³ ø This Space Here Is the 30 gauge Wire that Flashes Up Each Time / And Has To Be Replaced. / / ø ÚÄì/ SW1 ìÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÂÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÁÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ¿ ³ ³ ³ < R2 ³ SCR 1 ³ > 1K ÚÄÄÄ 200 V ³ ³ ³ ³ 6 AMP ³ ³ ³ ³ ³ ÃÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ ³ ³ ÀÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ/\/\/\ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÅÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ)ÃÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ R1 ³ C1 1K Àį¯¯ GND .1 æF When Switch 1 is closed the SCR turns on causing the small 30 gauge wire to flare up and flash. This is a fun circuit, I think you will get the best results from this circuit by using uninsulated 30 gauge wire, this seems to be the best combination. Here is another type this type is called an ARC igniter. This circuit is very easy to make but is limited in a few ways... Parts Required: 1- Clothes pin, or other contacts (will explain) 1- a 120 volt Transformer (T1) 1- 12 Volt battery (B1) 1- SPST N/O Switch 2- 4-40 flat screws mounted in the end of the clothes pin. To build connect the + terminal of the battery to the primary winding of the transformer, Next the other primary winding to the switch, then to the clothes pin screw #1. Then connect the Screw #2 to the - terminal of the battery. MAKE CERTAIN THAT ALL SECONDARY WINDINGS ARE TAPED AND NOT CONNECTED TO ANYTHING!!!! ÄÒÄ ÄÄÄÐÄÄÄ ÚÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄì SW1 ìÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ¿ ³³ í ³ (Aren't you glad I know I ³³ í ³ suck at ansi's! That is a ³³ í T1 ßßßßßÛßßßß Screw 1 Clothes Pin! ³³ í 117 Volt Û ø Connection ³³ í Winding ÜÜÜÜÜÛÜÜÜÜ Screw 2 ³³ í ³ ÀÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ+º-B1-º-ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ 12 V. To Produce an Arc all you do is close switch 1 and then open the clothes pin, And you just created a very nice arc! do you understand why I said or other contacts, you can make those a door and the wall, or window and the window sill you get the idea.
